Bonnet on the F and TF are the same.

 

Sounds OK, just bought One for my wife and after reading the HG thing hope its OK, her 114 covertible was OK replaced timing belt, water pump etc and its been good. So here we go...

Many of the 'cosmetic' changes mentioned on the TF are the result of Project Drive, when a lot of the little features from the F were deleted. Like the bonnet lamp, luggage net in the boot, seat back map pockets (who actually uses these anyway), twin horns, full paint job under the boot and bonnet, to name a few.

 

Update

Well we went and bought it, drove down to near Birmingham and arrived at about 2am went to motel then at about 11am saw car a wee bit of negotiating then drove back to Scotland, wife is well chuffed but guys i'm sorry its now got Pink seat covers, a mirror muff, Pink wheel, Pink hand brake and gear gaitors coming and she wants me to shorten the gear stick.

Just to add we bought it on ebay and her wee 114 convertible is now for sale

looks nice.

basically the tf lost a lot of the little nice bits from the f as mentioned above. in return it got a stiffer body shell. coil over suspension and slightly higher output engines to name a few. It also got poorer build quality imo.

Both are bloody good cars tho and when i get out of my tf160 i do fancy a trophy sometimes. Maybe im strange?
