I would have said a little more than that. It's an interesting car. Although not the purists 'cup of tea' it does have a lot of extras (plus the hard top).
You can pick up a basic good condition F of that mileage and age for about ÂŁ1.3K.

The plate alone is probably worth several hundred pounds!

This F is a bit different, if a bit boy racerish! You'd certainly get noticed driving it!

Personally, I quite like it

Well i paid just under 3.5k for the car, the wheels alone were a grand with tyres. Bodykit cost just under 1k before painting was imported. I realise this doesnt bump up value but for people who are into this scene it has a reflection. The plate was with car, m6f pp on the other plates (its m6 fpp for mot), by optional hard top i just meant that it was bought recently not all of them come with hard tops.

I've been offered ÂŁ4k and ÂŁ3850 since i've had it by a friend and a mate whos got a tf but i dont want to sell. I'd never let it go for 1.3k!? it keep it until it rusted into dust. It gets loads of attention thats true, its quite annoying after a while you cant drive through a town without someone shouting out.

Have a good week all.

I doubt very much that plate is ÂŁ800 - remember even the newest MGF's are only worth circa ÂŁ3k (with a few exceptions) so it's unlikely many people are going to spend near a third of the value of their car just on this plate..

Also worth noting - from November (IIRC) it will be illegal to sell 'Show plates' and ALL number plates made from then will have to be of legal font, spacing and size which makes 'M6 FPP' even less attractive to a MGF owner.

Regarding plate it comes with both the legal m6 fpp and the show m6f pp plates.

Are you saying that the registration m6 fpp will be illgeal in november or just displaying incorrect plates? I wasn't sure. If thats the case isn't it already illgeal to do that i thought it was?

Not the reg, but the plate.

Fab car, if I owned that there is no way I would sell it. Love the body kit, well done :URGOD:

I think it's a nice car, and you'd get a fair bit mor than1.3K.... (jeez it'd break for about ÂŁ3k with all that kit on! )
I guess it's a bit more specialised than a standard F, but the right buyer would pay good money for it, I must admit that Amaranth paintwork has grown o me recently now I've seen a few more in the flesh.
The workmanship looks pretty tidy as well.Looks like it's all been done well

Nice motor matey:D

Hi, their not white silver no i think its the light on the pictures, send me a link to a pic, if you have one, through a pm and i'll let you know for sure.

Do you have to pay to get a reg valued? the previous owner did tell me how much he paid for it, but i can't remember, ill ring him some point and find out. I need to get it valued as i'm not sure i will keep the plate if its worth something. I've already sent her to a insurance approved bodyshop this month to get a few small stone chips on front bumper i got on motorway the other week done, is expensive keeping it spotless.

Ash tray is slightly different colour to mine, the lid is a different shape too.

The hand brake one is the same colour, mine has detailing at top where the button is though in the metal.

Their nice, will look good!

Saw it on eBay, really nice motor but I hope you know it isn't a vvc because it has a 135 engine in it which is the equivalent to the MGF 1.8i
You need to come on some of the runs with us lot, real fun :broon:
If you are lucky, you may get 2.5k for it but I wouldn't't expect any more than 2k
Do the 17" alloys scrap the arches on full lock?
