my zs 180 is on a 51 plate. a few people have said mobil 1, others have said stay away. the same can be said for magnetec aswell. more people have said mobile.

Powertrain recommend a good quality semi synthetic 10w 40.
No need to use Mobil1.

 

Same as the K4 then.

Wasn't sure on the KV6 as I have never owned one. Too many people fall for the marketing trick by Mobil of getting the Mobil1 stickers put on all cars.

 

I use a semi synthetic in my 180 and its done nearly as many miles as the space shuttle, got warned off putting full synthetic in it by a mate who reckons that it can creep through the gaskets over time.Dunno if its true but it put me off.

I only use Mobil 1 5W 40 and have done for the past 7 years. Used it in my coupe turbo, MGF VVC, BMW 328 and my present ZT190. Never had any problems, infact in my coupe turbo it dried up the slight oil weeps it had and the MGF ran quieter.

Magnetec is also good if you want to pay slightly less.

 

Use a 5w-40 fully synthetic.
