Hi there everyone, been a long time since I have been here but probably look at another MG soon.

Anyway I had a paint question.

My car that I bought has many stone chips on the bonnet and am seeing if I can fix it without a respray. The problem is that the dealership decided to use the wrong paint colour to hide them. What can I do now?

Should I try and take off the wrong paint colour by using a blending solution? Or a very fine wet & dry paper or any other options?

There is a slight bump to where the new paint has gone down in thick blobs.

I did get some money off to pay for the respray, but as its such a dark colour am wondering if I can do a better job of it.

I have bought the Chippex repair kit which should be useful afterwards.
