What do you clean your windows with ?

Green E-Cloth set.

They're available from places like Comet, etc. No cleaning fluid required, you use one cloth wet and the other one dry.

I was really cynical when I first saw them, (came free with stainless steel cooker, which they're really good for) because one looks like a flannel and one likes like those cloths you get for cleaning glasses, but way bigger. Apparently it's something to do with the texture. They say when you wash them not to use any fabric softener, so that's a big giveaway.

Take it from a smoker - they are brilliant. You can even use them on bodywork after cleaning to stop water marks.

simply use a standard resin car bady polish.If you find that you have oil marks on the glass then use a little vinegar and news paper and wipe it over the glass

Tried polish once and the wipers didn't like it. Caused juddering and smearing.

Vinegar is great though, if the screen is really bad. Another trick is to cut a potato in half and use that, then clean it normally afterwards.

Expensive ?

Er, I'm not sure what you would consider expensive. I think they were about £7 but they last for hundereds of washes, and of course you don't wash them every time you use them.

So they're probably a little high in initial outlay considering it's a bit of fabric, but less than you would spend in paper towels and Windolene over five or so years!

Just your bog standard window cleaner from Halfords/Fletchers but make sure u use 100% cotton cloths!
