Last summer i rebuild head gasket plus new alternator, plus new radiator and many more. Now water started pouring from the head and got quoted well over £1k for repairs.
Something i cannot afford any more.

Any advice. Car is racing green in an immaculate condition except the above. Car is in Norwich in Norfolk.

Its because its green...

Nah, 1k to get it fixed is ridiculous, especially as worst case scenario purchasing a new head would cost about £120, mobile mechanic is the way forward. Hope its nothing too serious.

Do you have any other description of symptoms?

Someone Help????

Wondering if someone on here could help me out a bit, i recently bought a 2000 Rover 25 1.4 which has recently had the head gasket replaced, it has now decided to stop blowing hot air and judder and cut out. The temperature gauge needle also stays very low until the car has been running for a while only then will it work its way to the half way point does anyone have a clue what this could possibly be??

Sounds like you have an air lock, or on the 25's they have problems with the heater pipe work, not hard to sort out

The juddering and cutting out maybe something totally different or part of it if you are loosing coolant

Mindy thank you for your advice. Jon Norris came today, and changed the head gasket. He was very good and meticulous @ everything he did. Charged me what he quoted. Top person. Got my beast back. I am so happy.
