When I'm turning my wheel while moving the car sounds like its making a weird grinding type noise. My initial instinct was to blame the suspension I have just fitted but when I have the car either running or not but not moving and move my wheel I dont get this sound nor when I push down on the front of the car. I have checked the springs are sat in the cups and the struts arent moving and it seems to be fine. I could swear I also heard a springy tone when going round a roundabout too.

I also wondered if it could be brake related, sticking piston, something to do with my leaking gearbox, clutch etc?

I need some help as it is really bothering me now.

It isn't a worn or dry CV joint on the driveshaft is it?
Thanks Tone I'll check that when the rain settles. I dont think its a worn/dry CV but I'll check it when checking the disc shield!
