As Dell has suggested the date for this - August 28th - wondered who I can expect to see there from this forum if it goes ahead....

As is patently obvious, I'm going! Any other F/TFrs?

oh no, how are we supposed to get there from TGI's then :err:
Pete, many thousands of years ago, and not so long after John P was born, someone came up with the idea on scribbling lines onto a piece of paper as a graphical representation of where locations on the surface on the earth were in relation to each other. These pieces of paper colloquially became known as 'maps'. With the invention of the computer, these 'maps' where converted into electronic formats, and in recent years they have been made available on 'websites', allowing destinations to be identified very rapidly simply by entering the name of the desired destination. Some of these 'websites' allow the user to enter their origin, and destination they wish to navigate to, the website will suggest a route to traverse between the two locations. It is then possible to print this route onto parchment, which can then be placed on a spare seat of your motor carriage and referred to whilst negotiating the path to your desired location.

Or alternatively you could follow Phil or Deano if they go

And over the weekend I witnessed the lastest version of this when I watched Sharky using a pointed stick to make a similar representation on a soft piece of plastic.

It is good to see that evolution is ongoing!

Cool, we'll do that then! :)

I don't know where it is myself but before the time i'll have a look on autoroute and sort out a route, pm me letting me roughly where it is you live and i'll sort out a reasonable place to meet eachother enroute.

And nah she's been back a few weeks, she's got a part time evening job and is busy with that and other stuff, I haven't seen her for a while myself!
