Water ingress

I think I have seen this mentioned elsewhere on the forum but couldn't remember what the reason was, I have a ZT Tourer and have noticed today after it has been raining for the last few days wet carpet in the boot, it is on the drivers side under the lift up panel housing the spare wheel, the carpet is wet in a little ingress, I undid two screws to try and get the trim up to see where the water is coming from but had limited time and couldnt see where the rest of the screws and fixings were, i assumed it lifts up due to a little handle being present on the trim, any ideas where this water is coming from? Thanks all
