My windscreen washers went duff recently and on speaking to the local rover place they said that the impeller on the pump breaks up commonly, even though the motor runs, no water. I got a new pump for £30 odd and had it fitted by a reliable guy. It worked fine for a day and then not? I split the tee piece under the bonnet and blew back with an airline into the washer bottle, sorted, for a day. I reckon there must be some gunge or something in the bottle that is being sucked into the pump and blocking it. Short of taking out the entire bottle and cleaning it out (I really don't want to have to do this) is there any way I could sort this out? Flipping annoying it is.
Thanks

Do a search as there is a thread with photos showing you how to clean the bottle. All the gunk forms at the bottom. The post may even be in the "how to" section.
