Ah so it was you who got the cappings!! I bought the alloy from the same guy and was waiting for the caps then my broadband went down just before auction end! LOL small world! I got a Range Rover P38 handbrake cover for a fiver as its the same one.... and a Mini MPi walnut wheel as it had more walnut on it than the MG one! That cost me a tenner as it was 'damaged' turned out to be a leather flap missing on back that I covered with black leather! lol

I also added a walnut heater panel from a Rover 200 (Concerto shape) which involved a bit of fettling but looks nice!

Which seller on ebay are you guys watching? I can see some kits that look like things you stick on rather than being real wood substitutes...

cheers

Yea, what you see is actually a mixture of Rover 216 heater control (front and interior light spreader plus knob 'holes' :)rotflmao:), plus the back of a standard F/TF (modified to take the R216 front bits), with MY05 TF heater knobs....

It took a few hours work as I had to actually cut the silver dials to fit the R216 knob 'holes' as I wanted the MY05 knobs to sink into the fascia rather than stand on top like they normally do! So I had to use a craft knife and be VERY careful, then seal the cut edges with a silver pen! All very Heath-Robinson sounding I know but it worked well, and meant the knobs light up really well now they get more light form the R216 light spreader, which is so much better than the MG effort! I just wish I'd thought to do a 'How To' on it while I was doing it! Maybe I'll do another and do it then... heheh.
