Wakey Wakey!!

Typical - had to drop my son at school at 6.30am for a school trip. Started up and drove out of the close I live in as quietly as possible, dropped him off, and then drove back in on tiptoes, parked up, got out, pressed the fob- and all hell breaks loose!

I hate how the alarm sometimes goes off when I lock it - just because it feels like it! Always happens when I'm trying to quiet!

I can just imagine you trying to close the door without making a noise and then the horns start blaring... made me chuckle :)
You were watching weren't you? Stalker!

Did you see the bit where I jumped 6ft in the air and said ******** very loudly?

Seen the footage, thought he left the lens cap on...

Could be worse, it could go off at 3am every morning waking the neighbours!
 it was probably the swearing that woke them up Ally and not the horn

You know me too well!!

I just got home from work, and my next door neighbour said "Heard you shouting at your car this morning" - no mention of my car shouting at me first!!
This story really made me laugh

I think MG fitted them with a special alarm widget that automatically sets the thing off when you try to be quiet or you are trying to look cool :)

The same widget as the reverse gear one eh?

Never met you - and already you're on my hit list!!
When I drove the MG off the forecourt, I went straight to the garage because it had about £2's worth of petrol in (standard mechanic's procedure).

I wasn't used to the clutch, so roared up to the pump, at about 5k revs, looking a right tit.

Since the remote needed a new battery, I left it unlocked while I went in to pay.

Unaware it had an immobiliser, I got back in and spent a good 20minutes trying to figure out why the engine wouldn't start, and every time I turned the key, it beeped at me!

James Dean, eat your heart out.
My alarm has gone off recently at 3 am and it has a Stebel air horn fitted.
It must have woken everyone in the village, but I have not had a single comment from any of the neighbours. Think they all stopped speaking to me when I had the TT exhaust fitted.

Are the Stebel Air horns loud and vicous sounding?
My other car is a van, that appears to have the horn off a moped fitted, was looking for something that would get peoples attention/scare them, rather than just making them laugh.

Been on youtube, ordered one!

I now pity the fool who cuts me up!
My Stebel horn is certainly loud. They reckon 139db. It certainly gets the attention of idiots who cut you up etc. Much better than the single OEM horn that was fitted.
