I havnt drove ny 200 coupe vvc for three days, now when i started it up today there was a type of clicking noise coming from around the area where the air cone(57i) fits on to the area to the right of where it says vvc, just wondering if this is just due to not running it for a few days? Also is the part where vvc is written on just the part that mixes the air and fule, because im relatavely sure the vvc mechanism is around each cam controlling the angle of the lobes y/n?

Probably a bit of air in a hydraulic tappet, giving rise to the noise.

Yeah, the bit with VVC on it just conveys filtered air to the engine, fuel is injected in the inlet port, just foward of the inlet manifold.
