hi guys,

after having my clutch replaced and getting beaten by my bros vag tdi i thought id check the vacumm and boost pipes,

i noticed that one of the vacuum pipes coming out of the vacuum canister thingy just travelled under the canister and then just stopped! leaving an open end in free air,

doesnt look right to me,

is this ok or should it be connected to something?

thanks!

if its the pipe furthest to the right (looking at it from the front) i think it's an overflow or drain of some sort! mine's not connected to anything either.

thats the charcoal canister.

a breather pipe is quite normal.

do you know the torque figures of this TDi?

do you know yours too?

did you beat it before?

is the recent air temps affecting it?

lots of reasons mate.

can make it hard for diagnosis......
