i was sorting the spoiler brake light on my car as 2 blulbs werent working they were dirty contacts i did this with the pedal pressed and when i put the last one back in the fuse blew for brake lights so i replaced it and went to start her up and i can hear the relay click but it wont start it doesnt turn over then engine

i have checked all the fuses and they are fine i tried disconecting the battery for a min or 2 but still wont turn over

i checked the engine bay fuses and they are fine

what could be the problem i need this car for work and my parents are way for the week so i hae no other way to get to work

please help

Did you check the fuses under the dash and under the bonnet?

Could also be a sticking solenoid on the starter motor. Put it in 1st and rock it back and forth. Plus giving the solenoid a gentle tap with a ammer can persuade it to release.

guys i feel so stupid i just want to cry

i took the "spare fuse" from the bit to the left which isnt spares :(

mis read the thing cos its reversed when you look at it


lpeas e delete this so i can have some dignity left lol
