I'm trying to get the head off the 214 16v 1992 but despite all the rocking with the 2 metal bars as described in the Haynes manual, the head remains stuck. Obviously, I can't turn the engine over to break the seal as I can't move the crank. The HG was replaced only 18 months ago by a garage. I need to do this job as cheap as possible as I need to sell the car a.s.a.p. I have a head set but really need to re-use the head bolts as I've run out of money.
