That's right Jimbo, I noticed their server has been a bit dodgy lately, I tried to get on this morning and it was down. Looks like they're having a fairly big sort out.
Some of those guys will be getting withdrawel symptoms :bgrin2:

Only kiddin they are a super bunch.

FLYER.
Yes it's been a case of software behaving badly over the last day or so, so it was high time a bit of Vbulletin maintanence was carried out, unfortunately it's taking rather longer than we would have liked, but normal service will be resumed A.S.A.P

In the meantime thanks for your patience any members who might see this, and for me its the perfect opportunity to catch up over here :)

Reebs - i've never understood why there's this side and the other. Recently another community was started, but i've not looked at it to be honest. Looking at your rep, you seem to be a knowledgable chap - why are there so many forums covering the 75/zt?
Well as to the politics of the three forums, it's not really for me to say, but they all began from here, .org was the first to cater for the 75 & ZT in any depth, and as time went on The Owners Club was born and now as you say the 75 & ZT Community exists.

These are popular marques, and as they become more and more affordable to people every day, there is an ever increasing demand for information about the cars.

However with many examples pushing 10 years on the road, the need for places like this and the other forums has never been greater.

Thanks for the explanation - i never knew that the other side sprung from this side, but i can understand why. It seems strange that another new(ish) community has started. I wonder why? Actually no i don't. The penny's just dropped. I remember Tcut having some idea's of his posted on the new community. Im guessing at a personality clash. I'll say no more, but thank's for enlightening me. Cheers.
As a regular visitor to both sides I get the best of both worlds... What seems to be missing here is covered on t'other side. Just a shame about the politics etc. But things like that are always going to happen. The secret is not to get embroiled in it and just do your own thing.

I just wish we could have a proper "How To" section on here with a proper index to make information easily found. All this hunting around to confirm something you have a vague memory of gets a bit frustrating at times. And if I link to t'other side I always feel I am being disloyal which isn't really the case I'm sure.

Noticed they are still down this morning. I blame Radioguy for generating so much traffic over there. :twak:

Yes noticed they were still down this morning.

Couldn't agree with you more on the two points Edd - the Owners Club has become a bit more "twitchy" since loosing all the mod's and the formation of the Community and as regards to "how to's" I did try to get the same in place here but it wasn't to be.

Problem is there's just not enough time in the day to be on four forums at once.

Cheers
Jim
Yep i was going to go on and reply about a meet but its still down...oh well..

I think both sites are great.I tend to post a bit more on here in the F/TF section,it's very active. As Ed says you can usually find the info on one of the sites, being a member on both gives you the best of both worlds.
Seems a shame that there's numerous forums - i don't get much time to read any so stick with this one because i like the pretty backgrounds. :D
I can remember when leading members of this forum broke away and formed the Owners' Club, and I think it is a similar group of people who initiated the recent break away from that club.

It is almost as though some senior administrators get itchy feet, and feel the need to start afresh with a new club every few years - it's rather like those people who disrupt their lives by always wanting to sell perfectly good houses and cars for no better reason than the need for change.
Hi All,
The "other side" so called, is back in business and work normally again.
Regards,
Telfer.
