I changed timing belt and water pump changed yesterday and now there is a whirring noise low down in the rev range.

It running ok without any other problems. Timing is all ok but I just wondered if this is normal? Has it got to settile in over so long and then the noise will disappear?

Thanks

You may have overtensioned the timing belt.
