On my 620 ti, when the engine is first started. The revs cut out and a clicking sound comes from the glove box just be the revs jump up!

I have changed dissy cap rotor arm HT leads new battery and coil. It still does it though. It's not always when the car is cold either it just does it when it's being started whatever

Please Help

ticking most possibly points towards the starter solenoid...but i can't understand what you mean when you say: 'just be the revs jump up'.

No idea if there are any relays near the glovebox area on the 600. Unrelated probably...but my aftermarket immobiliser was clicking when the battery charge was low.

Not sure if this is the same on the Ti, but on the 600 diesel, the engine control module (ECM) is under the carpet on the passenger footwell. This may be giving the clicking sound perhaps?
