Sorry if this has been posted lots of times, I did search for it but couldn't find definitive answers.

I have a Rover 25 1.8 am I correct in thinking I can swap the 48mm plastic TB for a 52mm alloy one from the MG F and TF trophy versions?

Where are these obtainable from, I saw that they used to sell them in the online shop, but I couldn't find them in there?

Apart from swapping them straight over is there any other parts I need, such as a new throttle cable?

What sort of bhp gains would I be looking at from the new TB and changing the standard air filter for a free following panel or induction kit, on the 1.8 115bhp K-Series.

Thanks in advance

i think it just gives smoother driving with the 1.8. Go to a scrap yard and try there, mine just cost 30 quid with the cable, its dead easy to change. Ive got a post in the rover/mg talk section that explains how easy it is
