For the record: Ive seen smaller FM intercoolers than that, about half the size to be precise.
Anyways, the pics arent great so the car could well be a turbo :errx2: although evidence would suggest that it aint forced induction and it aint a VVC.
Ive been waiting a long time to see a VVC turbo, this isn it :shake:
there is easily enough room at the front of a 200 to fit a turbo, and the pipework would suggest there is one hidden under that shield.
i am a little concerned at the small yellow oil breather pipe on the cam cover, if that doesnt have a one way valve in it (cant see it from the pic) then all his boost pressure will be forced straight through the cam cover and out that little breather filter!
After a while, it didnt look quite right. Not sure if its me, but the wheels looked like standard MG straights not OZ wheels but thats not it....
The colour, the white seemed a bit, well photoshopped really!
I cant get it out of my head now as I have look at the other pictures and some of the colours dont seem right. Maybe its cos of my 4 hour exam and I have had a drink or 4 since then
I think it's just a poor camera that the pictures were taken on to be honest. Seems to be a bit too much exposure here and there.
I don't know what to think to be honest but if there was a halfords with a ripspeed section in Turkey, I'm sure this guy would be paying their wages...
I've got the salt and pepper ready
Just looking at the rear shot again and some of the detail is a bit fuzzy round the badges and the number plate. I would say those are OZ Super Turismo's, but they look like 14's...I'm with YTL, something just isn't right.
Tad, you cannot come on to a public forum making wild claims and then not expect to get some badgering if you don't provide the evidence to prove the claims.
There is nothing on that engine that looks any different to any other K series. I could easily pop a few gauges in the car and stick a few turbo badges on the cam cover and claim it's a turbo.
If I had a turbo'd K series I would be sure to post pics of the turbo bits at least! Where is the intercooler?
Since the internals from a vvc engine wouldnt take a turbo could he have taken the internals and turbo/manifold from a blown K and replaced the ones in the VVC engine ?

I'm talking about people who say that his pics are fake or his wheels are 14" which they're not.
his gauges and stickers do look ridiculous, and his car might not be a VVC. so what? he probably didn't mean to sound cocky when he said he'd post information if anyone wants it. he's just a little too proud of his car and not very familiar with english.
