Need to patch my sills. Holes front and back (and one in the middle).

For the rear sill repairs should I remove fuel tank? Not sure how close it is to the back side of the repair area. Don't want an explosion!

I realise fuel tank removal is a bit of a nightmare though.... :cry:

I presume you’re patching the outer sill, I haven’t done this repair but I’d expect an inner sill between that and the tank, so I’d say no. I would however observe all the normal precautions, I never weld without having an extinguisher on standby, this saved me when the wax on the inside of a panel started burning and I was able to catch it before it got out of hand.
