After over 20 years the arm wasn’t looking too bad, however the bush was showing signs of destress and unlike the one on the other side of the car the bush fell apart as it was being removed.

This is more of a guide than how-to, there are other ways of removing and inserting the bush.
After stripping off the ABS sensor and bump stop, the bush was soaked in penetrating fluid for 24 hours.
The bush will only come out one way as there is an internal shoulder (marked with the blue line) that the bush will not be able to pass through.

A cheap bush remover/installer was then used to remove the bush, no you shouldn’t use an impact gun with this tool, but I did use one in this case and it made light work of it.

last time I did one of them was around around 7 years now...I used the old outer part of the bush to push the new one in though
