Thats exactly how it should be.....just a fraction under the halfway mark

 

Anything above this mark means something wrong with the cooling system,either fan not working or coolant not enough..!

 

I too have thought about this - had mine for over a year and it has never moved from half way.

 

Because the water is under pressure, it will boil at a higher temperature than 100C.

 

Mine always just above quater mark.....

 

Perfectly normal
