I have also talked to tony, I have also expressed that Labour will NOT be getting my vote in may.
I do not believe anything will be done, but perhaps we can make them realise what a fxxk up they've made if sufficient people post comments.

I've heard a few comments about 'viable' business' etc. I believet that this issue goes beyond viable business, especially for the government because it's an issue of national pride and morale.

This is the impression I am getting from non-MGR enthusiasts and non MGR drivers that I am talking to today. Regardless of the small part they play, they are feeling bad about this, it's not just us MGR fans.

This is what Blair and co need to hear about.

Me too. The issue for me was the way the government appeared to seal the fate of MGR. They should have thought of the effects of THOUSANDS of workers and the loss of an important British industry.
