has anyone got a picture of the inside of the vehicle(tf) when the t bar is removed. want to see if there us a metal bar running across, and what the speakers connect to,, thanx

dont supose u have a pic do you,, im taking my mg centre hoops out,, and the speakers bolt to the big metal bar running from one side to the other.

on the 4th pic down there is a metal bar (silver) is that part of the car?
coz if i take my black bar out,there wont be nothing there at all.

There is a steel bar that runs across the tbar on the TF. Leave it, it's not to be removed with the hoops :lol: Unless you're going to sell the car part by part. Could be quite an earner ;)

If the MGFC hoops are anything like Mike Saturs, then the hoop assembly replaces that bent steel brace, and you'll be needing a new one ;)

Have a look on ebay. They are normally listed under 'speaker box' though.
I do have one in the garage but I intend holding onto it some that I dont end up in the position your in :lol:
They are pretty readily available from the usual suspects though.

There are 2 types, 1 with speakers boxes and one without. If you have rear speakers then you need the one 'with'. These were fitted in most TFs (with the exception being the TF115) and Mk2 Fs.
