Hi all, just wondering if it will be possible and what the result will be? I'd like the idea of having lower rpm while cruising on motorway and possibly better economy. I don't want to replace the whole box, just the final gear. Since I will be replacing the differential bearings soon, I thought I may just as well do that. Ironically, I find the 600 diesel to be quieter at higher speeds than the petrol. From memory the sdi was doing about 85mph at 3k rpm(even better with a 200/400 box), while the ti is only doing about 70mph. The T-series also has better torque figures than L-series, so why not? Do you think it's a good idea? Thanks!
