I was a big brave girl driving back from England on my own and came back via Aberdeen and it's terrifying roundabouts.

Now have a stotting headache lol and god that drive is boring, will stick to going over the Cairngorms in future!

You should have taken the A93 and by-passed Aberdeen! That's my fabourite route north, and I have been known to take the Tomintoul road towards Inverness on my way back south just so I can enjoy some proper MG roads which you have in abundance up there!

I will be up there next week and heading out to the Brae field, so maybe on my return in mid-October if I get time we can have an Aberdeenshire mini meet?

Just think...I have to tackle them twice a day.....no matter what route I take :doh:

Glad you made it safe and sound though. Should ahve popped in for a key reprogram...but I am guessing you didnt put the dogs in the f ....:lol:

Roundabouts.....you wimp.....Milton Keynes has over 300 roundabouts, close to 1,000 if you include the painted little bumpy ones!!! :rofl:

Yeah but maybe the drivers of MK have an IQ more than 8, unlike Aberdeen drivers :lol:

(did you know to turn right at the big roundabouts you go in the LEFT hand lane...WTF!!) and if you don't you get abused :lol:

Many a time ive been abused on that roundabout on my way up to Elgin!!

Mostly take the A9 up through Aviemore now though...as long as its not Caravan weather!!

I Have a pathological fear of Aberdeens nonsensical roundabouts lol.

Yes Broon sadly i couldn't squeeze 2 huskies and al my gear in the F so was in the landy lol.

Yes MArtin let us know if you are up this way.

I once did a wrong turn when planning to go the Aviemore route and I went up and down sheep tracks and eventually found Braemar!

I much prefer the A9 but thought as I was bombing up the road dual carriageway might get me home quicker.

Lee as for Milton Kenes think I will give those roundabouts a miss lol.
