Streetwise struts

i've used http://www.partsgateway.co.uk/ a lot for zr parts. Just put your car details in, what you need, and they will search several breakers yards for you.

Either that or find a local breakers yard, hopefully they may have a streetwise in.

same as the ones off a 25.
After all, a SW is only a 25 with different trim bits.

I always though it was a bit higher.

Then again it does sit on 17's and mines like a 4x4 atm.

the rear top mounts are different, as they have longer studs and 20mm spacers, to give the raised height.

The struts themselves are the same as 25 ones though.

What engine is yours? Always nice to see a well sorted streetwise

Yeah roof rails are a piddle. Can't really remember what you need to do but I do remember its dead simple, just a few screws.

Make sure you have the plastic roof strips from a 200/25/ZR to hand though :broon:

yeah i'm kinda poo at explaining things, sorry for the confusion.

bit of a threead hi-jack, if i put streetwise suspension on my 200 would it raise it a bit? it might seem contrary to everyone lowering theirs but i prefer my ride height higher lol and i go down lots of country lanes very often

Yay Go Dan.. i nearly did it too mine, but got a good deal on my suspension.

I think the SW uses some sort of spacer to get higher, if this is so it would be a easier swap and probably cheaper.

Are you going to do anymore mods for the sticks?

so i wouldn't need the full setup just some spacers?

only other mod i can think of useful in country places is foglights, when i can find a set cheap enough

Right her or eBay would be your best place to find cheap ones.

2.0TD , mate. and i,m on my third set of alloys. Had a few problems with her recently, had to disconnect the EGR which means the engine management light is always on, and of course getting struts. Done 100,000 miles and still flies. I,ll try and get some pictures upwhen I have time. Including the dent the missus putin the wing lol.
