Anybody suggest a good straight edge for checking head warpage? Thinking of this:

surely anything with a straight edge wil be just as good?

Christ on a bike, use the edge of a metal rule, no need to pay that sort of cash lol!!

When checking if a head's warped, anyone who builds engines would not recommend a metal rule, as they aren't perfectly straight. There's a difference between looking straight and flat, and actually being even and straight across the surface.

What you posted looks good.
