Hi,

Have noticed just recently that one of my front wheels is making a squealing noise while moving at low speeds (< 30mph). It probably does at higher speeds too, but the engine might be drowning it out.

Could it be the brakes or something more sinister?

On the subject of brakes, they do make ear piercing squeals when braking too. To the degree where pedestrians have begun clasping their ears as I pull up to lights :)

I think maybe you should check the wear on the pads asap, sounds like metal to metal and if it is you are going to make a mess of your discs.

Pete, thanks for taking the early shift. I made a decision to leave the clock changes until after I got up.
your welcome John. The newsagent across the road also made a decision to leave the clock changes until after I got up :irked:
