sinince battery has been disconnected im having the 1second start prob

as above, my r25 used to start 1st time. but now since the battery has been disconnected for a couple of days seems too fire up then cut out, seems like an immobiliser problem. would i need it re programmed.

haven't changed any thing, only tht the battery has been disconnected for a couple days

That is the classic symptom of an ECU that is not associated with the alarm ECU. I have had this when having my ECU reprogrammed by Z and F Tuning. When I first fitted one of the racing ZR Cup ECUs I tried it and had exactly the same problems you had. It was not until Mark had connected his lap top and reprogrammed it so that they recognised each other did it work.

I dont know if it is possible for the 2 to get 'de-programmed' and I regulary leave mine with the battery disconnected for weeks with no problems. Might be worth a quick call/email to them though as they may be able to help out?
cheers mate.. well seems too bee getting better but still cant start it and leave it, if i wanna start it and keep it running i have too catch the revs befor thay drop and give it a bit of rev 2/2500 then settles too just under 1000

still rekon its a ecu prob ?
