I think (though best to confirm) that the diesel engine would be heavier, so wouldn't have the intended effect? (very low ride perhaps?)

I've no clue when it comes to suspension though i've seen people warned about using petrol suspension items on diesels, so worth noting.

If they're ZS180 shocks they might cope with the weight of the Diesel, I think the L series Diesel is about 30kg heavier than the KV6 petrol (about 180kg vs. 150kg).

Not sure if they will physically fit though, hopefully someone can confirm.

Most people have had bad experiences when fitting K series petrol shocks to an L series car. The K series are the 4 cylinder petrols in the ZR105/120/160 and ZS110/120, and weight a lot less than the KV6 and L series, at about 100kg.
