Been busy buying cleaning stuff for the last week or so and here's the result :D

2 bucket wash method with microfibre sponge, dried with Super Soaker (Pound Shop jobbie) cloth. Clayed all over with Sonus green clay \ Glyde lubricant. Polished with AutoGylm Super Resin Polish then covered with a coat of Extra Gloss Protection. Back 2 black wipes for the black bits and Megs Endurance Tyre Shine for lovely shiny tyres

Without doubt the best the car's ever looked, really comin together now after looking a bit of a state this time last year

Matching rear seat material on the way soon, then methinks a front splitter, rear tints and dropped down a touch (less fluid lol) should do the trick nicely :)

New C\L motors, driver side leccy window switch, TrafficMaster clock and leccy mirrors would complete the electrical side of things as well

Centre console is from an A-Series, there's a voltmeter (retro 80's one that's been in about 5 Metros lol) and a 3-way ciggy lighter that I rewired to use the toggle switches mounted in the console.

Handbrake lever used 2 be me dad's from his 25, but now I got it :D

Found the mats buried in the bottom of a 25 filled with rubbish down the scrappy, they looked a cloes enough fit so I took the chance and they fit perfectly, was surprised just how well they go in :)

If you are serious about letting the suspension down - don't do it or you will have a hefty repair bill on your hands as it stresses the displacers which are no longer made afaik so you'll only get them 2nd hand now. There is a way to do it ... hacking a few mm off part of the suspension google it or someone here will know!!!!

Nice and shiney though

Ye but it's overpumped as is lol, 345-350mm which is higher than standard!

420psi seems to be the sweet spot, gives about 320-330mm ride height wouldn't have the car flat nosedived what u take me for :p

Can't get anythin else done as everyone is too far away and tbh it's too risky to have mechanical work done that can't be fixed locally so it won't be done :( Even finding a garage with a hydro pump these days is a bloody nightmare and they all put too much in

Seats are from an R200 Coupe, you need to swap the bases over so the Coupe foam sits on the R100 fittings - I wrote a guide for it on www.metropower.co.uk with lots of easy to follow photos :)

Door wood trims were from eBay, very rare I was lookin for a set for over 2yrs then about 4 came up at once... typical!

Centre console is from an A-Series, sprayed in Ford Polaris silver, closest match I could get to the dash plastic but still not perfect. Me dad then made up a metal plate and cut the holes in it for the switches and voltmeter. Bought the 3 port ciggy lighter from Halfords, opened up the circuit board and resoldered the connections to use my switches instead of the ones mounted on the board :D Wood is stick-on stuff from eBay cut to shape and stuck onto the plate (which is then secured by a bolt \ washer to the back of the console)

Chrome door pulls are from a Jag, trod on one down the scrappy and noticed it was exact same fitting as the 'tro, would have done the handles as well but dunno how to remove em lol Then all black plastics & carpet from Metro Si \ GTa. Doorcards are custom vinyl retrimmed ones done by me grandad (used to be pro upholsterer) with Metro bottom material.

Seats are from Rover Coupe, got matching rear seat material comin from a 214SEi to make it all the same style

Also have a TrafficMaster clock I'm hoping to put on the dash, quiet Maplin c\l motors and MGF electric mirrors
