I have followed with some interest the following item on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4643600636&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

At the time of writing, the price stands at £30.99.

I've checked with Rimmer Bros - cost £12 +vat for the pair. Thats a markup of about 100% with 3 hours to go on the auction. It may be higher at the end.

I've noticed this a lot recently i.e. people willing to pay huge amounts of money for easily available parts.

So...who's with me. Lets set up an Ebay company and flog Rover bits and pieces for 100% profit!

To be fair, there are other things that guy has bought that look pretty good value. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a rear bumper, used OK, but you'd be respraying even if new, for £35 seems like a bargain?

It is pretty easy to make the assumption that you'll always find things at their cheapest on Ebay and get carried away!
