Thought I'd take advantage of Halfords 3 for 2 offer and the excellent weather to give the 75 its first good going over. One thing that annoyed me was that not one of the 5 (yes, FIVE) stores I tried had clay bars so there are still areas that feel like sandpaper to the touch :(

I do think this colour looks particularly good after a detailing though. Method was:

- Wash with Meguiars Gold Class shampoo (one bucket)
- Glass treated with Auto Glym glass polish (creating annoying powder) and rainex windscreen
- Scratchex used locally (with varying success!)
- SRP
- Megs Carnuba Wax
- Gold Class Trim Detailer for the plastic bits

Engine bay didn't need much doing and sorted the interior with a quick vacuum and a few cleaning wipes (note manky looking gear selector!). That little lot still took nearly 3 days though.

All we need now is some rain to ruin it all again... Think I'm going to use the Sterling for commuting this week.

Scratches show up easily.
