Yes they did make a turbo T series. Fitted to the MkII 200, MkI 400, 600 and 800.
It is the same engine as yours, but with quite a few differences though.

I've got a rover 420il 'v' reg and just wondered if they made a 420 engine with turbo and if it would fit straight into my car? If yes does it have 200bhp like the 620ti and whats the chance of getting a decent one
