Rover25 timing

Hi people very nw here so if I get stuff wrong my appologise.
I have a rover 25 1.4 p which I have just replaced hg, all fine and up and running but is running slightly off perfect. Could I have missed a tooth on the pulleys ,there is no knocking or anything sinister and I have ran it with good results . it's just a bit annoying.. Thanks in advanced

If timing was out you would most cerainly know about it.

Not really. If it's only a tooth out it will only cause a slight misfire.

First HG I ever did on my first ZR I got the timing three teeth out and it still ran. Just very lumpy and barely revved up.

I'm sure I would I reckon I might have a wire loose somewhere I'll take a peek in the morning thanks for the reply

It was the hg that had gone not to badly just noticed water squirting out when I squeezed the water pipes was showing pressure in the header .it was all symptomatic of hgf
