Rover BRM Turbo (v reg)

Time has come to sell my pride and joy so I can afford my impending wedding.

This car started life as a standard Rover BRM 200 LE with it's VVC engine, however after a year the engine overheated and I had to replace then engine.

This is where the transformation commenced to what I'm selling today and has been magazine featured (Feb 2005) TotalMG magazine (copy will be supplied) as well as been featured on a 'cruise' website.

The car has not been 'ragged', but well looked after and no expense has been spared (bills included with full Rover service history).

bad bits..

The car has got some bad points, but these are minor and do not effect performance, handling, etc

Actuator rattle (actuator arm needs tightening)
Noisy fans (nothing wrong with them, they are just a little loud)
A number of small stone chips on the front (nothing serious, and I hardly notice them)
2 of the Alloys have light scuff marks on (not too noticeable)
Front headlight wobbles (missing stabilising bolt)
Fogs, rear window heater not wired up (this should be finished before sale)

Apart from those very minor things, this car is seriously eye catching and will make any new owner more than happy with the mixture of performance as well as styling.

Also there is a box of spares that is included free.

Performance wise, the engine is estimated to pull 220bhp @ 12.5psi and has a Santa Pod time of 14.3secs for the 1/4 mile

To be honest the insurance isnt that bad!

The BRM is standard group 16 for insurance and with the mods it is assumed that the rating is on an 18 level.

I'm 26, living in the MK2 postcode area (quite a high rating one) and have no points and 4 years NCB.

All mods declared I was quoted £850 fully comp from Adrian Flux and the one I went with (as they have nice little extras like agreed value etc) is HIC at £1100 (rounded up) fully comp.

Hope this helps.
