Hi Welcome to the forum, weather permitting remove the under tray and locate where its coming from, also check around the engine bay, can-not think of any oil coming from the battery area? check that side of the engine, someone could have spilled oil at sometime?, Steve
Just had a similar problem on the wifes 75, turned out to be a loose oil filter!
don't think it is any that has been spilt, is there any breather pipes down that way.
nice one i'll check that in morning thank u.
Hi which model of 75 do you have? petrol/diesel ect, Steve

Welcome to the forum.

I'm guessing it's a diesel?
If so oil drip from passengers side near battery is propably leaking ingtercooler O Rings.
Have a look on the hose that runs from EGR Valve below passengers headlight for an oily mess if it's messy there's your problem.

Is it a diesel? Intercooler O rings may be the cause. £2.99 plus about 15 minutes work.
Could it also be the gearbox/driveshaft seal
Or blowpast into the bell housing from an over-pressurised engine block.
Then dripping from the bottom onto the floor.
hi yes its derv. were r these orings, thank u for ur help
Theres a fitting guide on the main page how to's that I created have a look at that and it will show you exactly where they are.

Failing that do a search for fitting guide.
If you require a pair just follow the link on my signature.
i didn't think intercoolers had oil in them?

Hi, they don’t, what happens is oil vapour within the air solidifies and collects on all the walls of the system and in the bottom of the intercooler itself, when the pipes become porous or the o-rings pop you will see oil deposit, have you found the leak yet? Have you checked the intercooler for any kind of accident damage or puncher wounds, don’t forget you can have oil dripping at one side of the car this does not mean that its coming from that side, you have a under tray and bottom of the bumper for oil to run across, i think you will have to investigate all the pipes/intercooler/seals and anything else within the engine bay, sometimes its not easy finding leaks but just keep looking, Steve
hey up pal, not looked properly yet car at work. i had a look when i first saw the leek and its wet around the bottom hose and a bit messy above that not leeking bad just 2 small spots when stud.

Could be the o-rings have popped or the big pipe as become porous, possibly a very small hole? i would not worry about it to much, i hope you find it and sort it, Steve
thanks steve for ya help bud
