Bimey, I didn't know postcodes make that much difference. It's probably because there are only about 20 houses in my street and my postcode only covers them.Car insurance is a postcode lottery, I've been driving for over thirty years with no claims and no convictions ever, no claims untill this last twelve months, two claims one for windscreen chip and the other for a stupid cow who bumped me, last year my insurance fully comp was £312, renewal this year was £546, the cheapest i could renew for was £423 fully comp, i was down at my mothers in Cornwall a few weeks ago, so i got comp-the rat.com up and did a quote from there and the same company come in at £234 for the same policy, now you tell me if its not a lottery as to where you live, big city's with bad rep like where i live (Bradford)although i live just outside but within a Bradford postcode and get hammered because of its reputation, its only my job that stops us from moving, but we can expect more increases because of the insurance scams and the amount of uninsured drivers that are on the roads, if it was up to me:devil2: no insurance, banned for a minimum of five years, accidents depending whats involved a retest at least, some of the drivers on are roads are bloody dangerous, but thats just me, Steve
I've got my bike with Adrian flux, there were the best by miles. But in all of the comparison sites swiftcover always came out on top for my car. Perhaps I should give them a call at renewal, they might do me a deal for having both vehicles with them, although it seems my existing premium is pretty good.OK, here's mine

that would mean mine would now be free.:hysteria:If you are accident free then I think your insurance should be halved every ten years.
By the time you reach 50 you would be a very careful driver !!
