On saturday I waited at a T-juntion to allow a 75 to pass. As it got closer I noticed the front grille was like the one on the Rover V8, so I assumed it was one so I wound down the window to hear it pass.

When it did pass it turned out to be a Tourer. Are the V8 tourers on the road or was this a special grille option? I didn't get to hear it properly.

This was in the area of Wing, Bucks.

The V8 Tourer does exist - I've seen one at Longbridge looking very fine in dark metallic green. Didn't they 'launch' them at Geneva?

Mind you, if the earth didn't shake below you and your eardrums didn't bleed after the car went past, it probably wasn't the V8 one you saw. I had an MG ZT-260 growl at me in a motorway services car park recently. You certainly couldn't miss it!
