Hi folks,

could someone please confirm that the plastic fuel rail used on the Rover 200/400 (96>) is the same on the Rover 75 2.0 petrol? The rover 75 is 2002 btw.
I take it the fuel injectors are different? They were taken from a 1.6K

I havent much knowledge about the 75

many thanks

Ben.

Hi :)

The 2 litre 75 is the KV6 engine reworked big style from the original and troublesome KV6 used in the 800's.

Was the KV6 used in the 200/400 of 1996? I'll be surprised but happy to be corrected. In any case the V6 engine in the 75 is very different from the one used in the 90's.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Same engine, near as damn it identical emissions and economy, just a shorter stroke on the 2.0 compared with the 2.5 and it only really exists to warrant KV6 production.

The 2.0 V6 was replaced with a 1.8 K4 Turbo with near identical power output but much lower emissions to make the 75 more attractive to company car drivers.

Well yes imo the only real KV6 is a 2.5 , and you certainly know the difference when driving one ;) (like wot I do everyday).
