I may have to sell my zt-t soon :(
As i need the cash to use as a deposit on buying my first house,i was thinking of getting a cheap quick rover to get me round for 6months or so,and i don't want to use my monty every day, when i get it back on the road.
So i thought of one of these or paying a bit more and getting a coupe vvc,
Can anybody tell me what there like to drive, spec, insurance group etc?

Cheers for any help

very underrated cars.

find a clean one and you are lauging.

same with a vvc coupe, find a clean one and you wont regret it.

they seem to have a habit of eating gearboxes though, so check the gearchange ;)

T series turbo engine. Very sturdy if not had boost over 13psi without any cooling mods to the turbo set up (ie bigger intercooler).

Gearboxes only go if the car's been thrashed. A re-build with steel cage diff bearings will cure that. Look for blue smoke on over-run and on full boost, will show signs of seals in the turbo dying.

i don't see why not :) as long as its regularly maintained (oil and filter change every 6k or so) then you'll have a fun car on your hands :D
