its not so much of a problem (at least i hope its not) more of a query.

ive recently got rid of my 200 sdi, if i got out and left the doors unlocked the immobiliser would automatically arm, then if you try to start the car again the little ringing noise would kick in and tell you you cant start it without switching the immobiliser off, you then press the unlock button on the remote the light on the display goes off and you can start the car.

well same scenario with the 25 the light comes on to say the immobiliser is armed but when you put the key in and turn its like the immobiliser is bypassed and the car starts!

do they all do this? is there a sensor in the fob that tells the car that its ok to start? or do i have a problem.

thanks
