I have never heard such bull in my life. How the hell does a simple stereo adjust the engine noise? Someone is having you on mate.

Actually this is not bull.

A work colleague's fairly new Ford Fester had some sort of speed sensitive volume control on it, so when she was driving on the motorway the radio turned itself up, and it turned itself down when she came to a stop.

She used to regularly embarress herself by singing loudly along to the radio while driving, then stopped a trafic lights, she's be singing loudly and the radio would be quieter.

Don't let a lack of self knowledge let you doubt others.

Quite a few cars now have speed sensitive head units and have had for at least 6 years.

Nothing new.
