The problem arises when the car has warmed up. It does not occur for the first 5 miles. I thought that it was the IAT sensor but it has been replaced.
The symptoms are that when sitting at lights the car lacks power to move off and when it reluctanty does it kangaroos along like a learner driver is at the wheel. Taking the foot off the pedal slightly helps to get enough momentum to get it into 3rd gear and it then seems to be O.K. with the odd hiccup.
The car has a rough idle when warm, does not lose water and the pkugs are new.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Does it rev freely in neutral?
Where does your car idle?
Put the handbrake on firmly and then put the car in 3rd gear. Give it some revs and let the clutch out slowly. Does the car attempt to overcome the handbrake? If the clutch is fine then the car should stall.
