Hi,

Just after some general advice, my door pillars have the black plastic coating on them but on both sides it has either bubbled or split. Is there anything that can be used to re-cover them or would it be better to remove them (if so how?).

I have thought about removing them cause the newer rovers did not have the covering (cost cutting) but not sure it would look right.

noticed this a few times at auction on r25`s,

im sure they can be removed - EVERYTHING can be removed lol

its the putting back together thats the issue, i would be ensuring you have a supply of new ones before removing and presume some sort of sealant/bonding is also required....

yeah, those strips are pennies from a dealer (if you can find one)

hairdrier and a bit of patience is all thats needed
