just read through the entire thread my wifes rover 200 heaters stopped on all speeds,took the resistor out one coil broken but i assume this would not stop the heaters working fully,the fuse under the bonnets ok cant find a fuse under the steering wheel in the fusebox for the heater can anyone confirm if this is right its a s3 220 diesel

Finally got around to fixing the resistor pack on my rover 25 this afternoon. Took about 15 minutes to do with the resistors from maplin.

Thanks to all who worked out which part numbers were needed and thanks to all those who have shared their experience in fixing this problem.

Here's the culprit.

Release the connector, it's quite tight.

Move the cable aside, to allow access to the securing screws.

Undo the two screws, a stubby cross-head screwdriver is best for this, as the dash moulding gets in the way.
Hi I have a 05 45 facelift model.this has a/c. have done all this but no resistor. it has small rods there. have removed it ,this has stopped the blower being on all the time. but is this the culpret, it says DIAVIA 133000/3 ON IT, CAN YOU HELP

I suppose you have climate control unit with transistor pack like number 6 (Transistor pack) on the following picture:
