take a look at the MGFcenter hoops.

Very well fitted, look superb, you don't loose your rear speakers (in fact I took the opportunity to upgrade mine LOL) and they will still allow the fitting of a standard Tonneau.

I love mine :D

Just a couple of things to point out about the MK1 X-Power hoops.
Firstly because they fit over the engine inspection panel, they have to be removed to gain access to the engine. Some garages change for removal/re-fitting becasue it takes extra time, which increase service costs.
Secondly, because they fit behind the T-bar, the standard hood cover wont fit, unless you take a knife to it and cut out sections to fit round the bars.
Both things you need to consider IMO.

Believe me, @ ÂŁ95 they were an absolute Bargain, you could have just re-listed them on Auction (not buy it now) and doubled your money at the least, if not more!.

If you see any more around this price (MK1's) snap them up!!..... just make sure they come with the mounting brackets though, as they are next to useless without!!.

Being noob, I checked g00gle to find Mike Satur, but theres nowhere to buy on the website. I'm assuming you have to contact direct to buy things?

Probably a silly question, but website doen't look that polished, Is it a trustworthy vendor??

give them a ring, they are always extremely helpful.

Very trustworthy company in my experience.

ah yes, the "great company/rubbish website" pitfall. Frustrating because in this case they are a great company.

If only they would let me loose on it, I'd make it look the dogs danglies. Thing is with websites of this nature, you never know if they are being done "professionally" or by the owners themselves at which point you can't just wade in or they get awfully offended :(

still, if any one ever needs a website doing, or knows if MS or MGFc need a revamp, pease let me know :D

I have to say at this point that having seen just what was put into the car when the MGFc fitted my hoops, it most definately isn't as simple as you think when you see just what support and bracing they put in.

Hoops are a bit like icebergs when done correctly: it's what you don't see that counts.

but yes, if you just want them to be purely for looks, then I'm sure it would be an easy job ;)
